Step 1: Review the Data File Example General Self Efficacy Excel Spread Sheet. This will provide you with an example of how your data file should be set up.

Step 2: Retrieve the Post Survey Code Book that you completed during week 2.

Step 3: Create a new Excel Spread Sheet and develop your own Excel Spread Sheet Data File using the codebook you developed.

Step 4: The following sections should be addressed in your Excel Spread Sheet Data File

a. Respondent ID’s entered in first column (pretend you have 25 participants. You can use 1-25 or create your own IDs)

b. Item codes entered in respective columns

c. Color code each section.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. To complete the assignment, students will need to access their course text book and possibly the following databases: PubMed, CINAHL, MEDLINE, Cochrane Library, and other resources in the Jay Sexter Library. 2. The Preparing a Data File learning activity assignment is worth 50 points and will be graded using the designated rubric. Grading criteria include quality of content, appropriate citations, use of Standard English grammar, and overall organization and readability.

3. Create your assignment using a Microsoft Excel application. The document should be saved as an Excel worksheet.

4. There is no required length but should be specific enough to address all requirements.

5. APA format is required when applicable.

6. The following sections should be addressed for this assignment:
