Yeast Lab Worksheet

In this lab, yeast samples were grown under four conditions: a control condition, a limited reproduction condition, an additional food condition, and an introduced predation condition. Data were collected at 0, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours.

Count the number of yeast cultures observed each time and record the data in the Yeast Lab Spreadsheet. You may need to use the zoom feature to accurately count the yeast colonies. In the toolbar, select View > Zoom > 300%. For heavily populated squares, you may estimate the number of yeast within 20.
