Participant Information Sheet.

Information sheets should make the following points of information explicitly clear to research participants:

The research is about comparing the early interventions for children with disabilities in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Thus, the research will focus on teachers working in the special school education institutions to determine the situation when it comes to interventions for children with disabilities. The participants will be required to provide information by filing a questionnaire. However, there is a risk that the participants may provide wrong information depending on where they work. Thus, it is only the participants working in identified private schools taking care of children with disabilities that will be included in the research. The participants must also be working in schools within Ireland. To ensure the risks of poor filing of the questionnaire, instructions will be provided. The risk assessment form will be provided for the participants who choose to have it.

The research will help identify the areas of weakness when it comes to the issue of early interventions in children with disabilities. Thus, the data provided will be used to determine the trend that has been there in Ireland in ensuring children with disabilities get the right services. Thus, every data provided will be used for the purposes of the research alone. The data will be stored securely using password since the questionnaire will be sent using the email. It is only the researcher that will access the data for the purposes of research analysis.

All the data acquired from the participants will be stored in confidentiality and anonymity will be preserved. The data will be held until the research is over and later disposed using the established measures to preserve confidentiality. At the same time, the participation in the research will be voluntary and the participants have the right to pull out at any time. The research findings will be made available to the participants using the emails and later it will be disclosed for use by the public.
