Technological advancement and innovation replaced every area of life and brought changes in human life to a much extent. I believe that the emergence of technology and how we have adapted it brings both positive and negative challenges for our spiritual and religious life. The technology generates a profound influence on how an individual behaves in society, similar to the technical indications that an individual works or operates in the society based on his/her beliefs and attitudes. The emergence of technology contributes to strengthening my spiritual beliefs; for example, I have a number of resources to know more about my spiritual beliefs, grab unlimited information and correct something if there is something that I'm experienced wrong. In this way, technology allows me to spiritually correct myself and improve my performance towards spiritual practices. There are many apps and other resources available that strengthen our beliefs and allow us to stay updated about changes in astronomical movements. The more knowledge I will grab, the more I will be attracted to the divine and natural powers. For example, learning about God and his powers strengthen my belief in him, and now I perceive God as all-powerful who have the powers to control the falling of leaves from trees. Since I researched different natural phenomena, I can experience the feeling of reformation in my behavior. For example, I want to probe everything in detail, and I want to look at things differently with detail and knowledge about every dimension of it (Schalk, 2018).

The emergence of technology and advancement brings challenges for the management of an individual's spiritual life, and I would say that the involvement of technology has hindered my spiritual life so far. There is a number of researches that say technological developments support spirituality and connect mind, body, soul, and thinking, but I would say that since the involvement of technology in my life, I failed to give time to myself. Whenever I think I should do something productive and spend time for myself, think about myself, I get attracted to the cell phone and other technologies around me (Dean, 2019). We turn to spirituality or feel it when we experience some pain and sorrow, but there wouldn't be things in our lives; we can't find our beliefs and weak points. Technology reduced the existence of challenges, pain, and sorrows by offering a solution to everything, and in this way, it contributes to the decline of the connection between spirituality and humans. The role of technology is negative in supporting spirituality because, as I remember, my beliefs and turns were higher towards spirituality before the emergence of technology. Seeking perfection in the world outside, I left spiritual success a chance to negatively impact me one day. Spending time online reduces time to spend in recognizing spiritual beliefs and the penetration of these beliefs in our lives. Spiritualty teaches us about the concepts like eliminating ego and self-love from our personalities but spending time online and on social media teaches lessons contrary to it.
