List two (2) reasons for the economic decline of the Islamic society and discuss each concerning their effect on cultural conditions.

Two reasons for the economic decline of the Islamic society were the rulers and religious problems. The rulers wouldn't spend money on materials to help their empires, but rather on personal items. All dynasties had faced accusations and battled along their enemies leaders. Although, the Ottomans tried to seize the problems by restraining royalty in castles. Thus causing the royals to have little to no knowledge in governing. Two examples of failing rulers were Selim the Sot and Ibrahim the Crazy. Emperors like them would increase taxes and consume the money for themselves. The Islamic society began to see a lack of rulers, fragile discipline in the military, legislative extortion, and etc. Not only were was there a lack of rulers, but religion problems began to grow. Traditionalist Muslim priests opposed against guidelines and customs of the Islamics. Majority of Muslim leaders had an impact in the Islamic empires. It was because of their education and entanglement in their routine lives. The priests would criticize women for not being Muslims and revolted against authorities that disclaimed the Islamic laws.  During the mid-eighteenth century, Sirhinidi requested that all of the population that were Muslims pay the poll tax and wanted to destroy Hindu temples. Society began to disagree with the ways of their leaders and rebelled against the rulings. This only increased the fall of the Islamic society.
