Founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, the organization has grown into

a leading non-profit with a global reach across six continents.

The IDD community served by Best Buddies includes people with Down

syndrome, autism, Fragile X, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic

brain injury, and other undiagnosed disabilities. The organization’s programs
