She works at the Roger Williams Park Zoo as manager of Ambassador Animal Programming. She manages the Ambassador Animal Collection at Roger Williams Park. She oversees staff members in addition to volunteers in their aptitude as animal handlers. Her objective is to guarantee that every animal which interact with the public on a regular base are empowered, happy and relaxed. In addition, she further ensures that the parks’ animal handlers are capable of bridging the gap between animals and humans, making all the interactions a positive experience for the handlers, audience and most significantly the animals. She takes pride in maintaining the health and happiness of the animal ambassadors (ROGER WILLIAMS PARK ZOO AND CAROUSEL VILLAGE, 2020).

She has worked in the park for 12 years and 4 months starting in February 2008. She has performed in several capacities in the park. She is involved in writing protocol and policies as required. She supervises, trains and manages volunteers and staff in the aptitude as Animal Handler. She further directs every on-ground Animal Encounter. She collaborates Zoo-wide to facilitate, coordinate, market and develop an increasing collection of premium experiences comprising feedings, up close encounters, behind-the-scenes experiences and private animal encounters. She makes the decisions and commitments that need the expenditure of noteworthy unit resources. She expands the management of qualification criterions as they apply to Ambassador Animals. She cultivates an all-inclusive Ambassador Animal assemblage plan to address the requirement for controllable animals zoo-wide.

She implements and coordinates on camera media appearances for social media and television. She has a vast experience in the field. Other than working as the manager, she has been serving for 12 years and 5 months since January 2008 as a zoo educator enrichment expert at the Rhode Island Zoological Society. She served for a single year as the OSEEC Environmental educator. This was a strategic effort by leading environmental organizations in Rhode Island to enhance environmental literacy and science proficiency among pupils in the state’s urban main cities. She worked for Crate & Barrel for 4 years serving in several capacities including department manager, office manager, management trainee and assistant manager.

She has studied at the University of Rhode Island where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Studies. She also possesses a volunteer experience having served under RIDART “Rhode Island Disaster Animal Response Team” which is a volunteer/private/public partnership to recover from, respond to and prepare for emergencies upsetting animals in Rhode Island. The animals include small and large domestic animals in addition to wildlife. The emergencies that could be faced range from floods or storms to oil spills. She holds a certificate of distinction from behavioral works, learning and living with animals (Linked In, 2020).
