Task: Research Project
· Individual assignment.
· The student must develop a Marketing Research project based on a clear marketing problem or opportunity, detailing the objectives, and explaining why they chose their research design method. A company will be assigned to each student.
· The structure of the work should comprise the following sections:
· Executive Summary o Overview – Outlined the background context that led you to make this research. o Objectives – List 3-5 of the decisions or initiatives that the research will address.
· Target audience – The universe population segmented (demographics, geographics, psychographics and behavioral).
· Sample plan – The number of participants you wish to research including your sampling size.
· Research methods – The methodology chosen. o Timeline – Schedule the research task in a Gantt calendar.
· Ethical considerations – Outline any ethical considerations that may arise in the course of your research.
· The student must structure arguments, facts and figures coherently to support the statements made for each element of the topic.
Submission: Week 6 – Sunday 7th March 2021, at 23:59 CEST (via Turn-it-in).
Weight: This task is a 60% of your total grade for this subject.
Formalities:
· Wordcount: 1500 – 2000 words.
· Cover, Table of Contents, References and Appendix are excluded of the total wordcount.
· Font: Arial 12,5 pts.
· Text alignment: Justified.
· The in-text References and the Bibliography have to be in Harvard’s citation style.
It assesses the following learning outcomes:
· Apply the appropriate research design methods to obtain insights into the marketing research problems or opportunities.
· Design the marketing research questions for questionnaires and explain how the data will be analyzed.
· Translate the research insights into a professional report understandable to marketing managers.
