As a project manager it’s my role to ensure the success of the project is achieved with its mission fully achieved and its timeline as scheduled. Short comings are normally out of control to human perception leading to delay in the project timeline. To solve this all what was needed was to extend the project timeline.
Finish work was scheduled 15 days because of its complexity and finish supply work first took too long to be delivered diminishing the morale of the workers. Furthermore finish work is not a main course job as it entails many short-short jobs which are seemingly insignificant but really time demanding causing majority of the workers walk off the jobs half way done. To compensate these more different workers needed to be hired to complete the job hence creating a risk of delay in project timeline.
Work benches posed a risk of delay in project timeline too. This is because the workers were students who were not having competent skills in building, so the produced half based jobs leading to 1/3 of their work being demolished for restart.
