Balancing Work/school/family.
I have been trying for several years to finally concentrate on my studies and take the time to study and finish my bachelor degree, but I always had a problem in order to achieve a balance and bring a reconciliation between family, work and studies. Talking about conciliation seems a fashionable subject. This year I finally find my momentum and I get my educational life straight. I find my focus between college, work, kids and my personal life. T We get tired of hearing how companies seek to make their employees compatible with work and family. However, reality shows that those who try to reconcile do not have it easy and that many times they are forced to choose between work, family or their personal life and this is complicated if we also want to continue studying. Will it be possible to find a balance between these pillars?
Family, work and studies balance is a complex and difficult issue to address in a few minutes. In the intervening variables of a very different nature and private, public, individual and collective decisions are intermingled, which in turn produce consequences also private and public. Therefore, we will not be able to find a single answer. There are no magical measures taken from the company or the public sector, to ensure professional and family success, but we can work and follow some guidance or steps to find the perfect harmony between them.
Where could we start to get the perfect balance. The first step to achieve that balance is a lot of planning in your list of activities and a series of well-defined objectives, seeking to improve our quality of life in all areas. It is also vital that you learn to say no kindly, selecting important activities that will help you recover time for you and your family, especially if you have children to attend, no matter how old they are, since each stage of their Life is an important moment. Also do not waste the short periods of time with which you count on the day and take advantage of them to fulfill any of your objectives. If you can finally, use communication as your best strategy to achieve a balanced life, since you can be aligned with your goals and theirs, working with the goals of the family in mind when you do your business goals. It is very important to be well at work and with the family, the first thing is to be well with oneself.
Put your emotional health as the most important and maintain a healthy state in all aspects, physical, emotional and mental, approaching that which helps you achieve it. To be well at work, the first thing you must define are the roles you must play within the family and give your space to each one. The family is the ideal environment to develop all kinds of personal, social and professional skills that will later help us integrate into life itself.
The difficulty to reconcile work and family arises when one of the two areas is a priority and ends up damaging the other.
