Back-Up Plan Form

What is your "Plan B", your technology backup plan?

Be sure you have a few before you begin your online courses. Find a friend, a relative, or a public library that has a computer with Internet service that you can use in case of emergencies. Make sure the computer has any special software your course requires such as Microsoft Word or Excel.

The key here is to not rely on one computer or one location in case something goes wrong.  It is best to back up your work on portable storage devices that can be used at multiple locations in the event of a problem at any given location or computer.

Please list 3 different back-up plans you have in place to demonstrate that you are properly prepared for emergency type situations that would prevent you from completing and turning in your schoolwork by the assigned deadline. For example: library, work, friend, neighbor, family member, computer lab, local Wi-Fi/hotspot, coffee shop, etc. Cell phones and tablets have limited access to view courses and submit coursework therefore should be used only as a temporary back-up plan and should not be long term.
