Avoid these mistakes

Please use the grading rubric provided in the assignment instruction to maintain consistency amongst the faculty. Here are the most common mistakes students make in this assignment:

1. Inappropriate format. This is a FORMAL business report, so, first person pronouns, personal experience, etc.  just do not fit. As usual, report should also follow APA style.

2. Minimum word limit (2500 words) is not met or too many words are used.

3. Purpose/objectives/limitations of the report are missing/unclear

4. Decision-making models described superficially

5. Preferrable model is not chosen

6. No solid arguments provided to justify the choice

7. No thorough analysis of the chosen model provided; no real-life applications of the model discussed

8. Recommendations are missing or too general

9. Poor integration of sources (please follow the rubric to assess this component)

10. Report lacks clarity/coherence/ balance
