The Genius of Victory- Michelangelo: refers to image of victory that is overlooking those who are defeated. The element of victory is depicting Youngman who is vigorous, who is standing alongside a crown made from oak leaves. It is holding a sling as well. It is overlooking a man who is wrinkled and old sagging who is on the surface of the stone. The image is depicting a winner who is dominating a looser who is submissive with agility as one of it leg is blocking the captives body who is chained as well as folded.

The image is depicting characters of the slay tyrants.

The image was gilded at first and some remains of gilding can be seen on the sword(Adams, 2018, p. 35).

It is depicting the way Judith is powerfully standing with a sword that is raid alongside holding the Holofernes head by his hair. Medusa by Caravaggio: is an image a monster from myths of Greek, of one of the three gorgon sisters who was beheaded by hero Perseus before her gaze could change him to stone. Perseus used a shield as a mirror to reflect the powers of Medusa to herself thereby paralyzing her. This shows how he was cunning which made him to defeat her.

It is the first great basilica in Florence in the Dominican church.

It was commissioned by Rucellai family and was designed by Filippo Brunellschi.

Its groundbreaking was done in 1279 and consecrated in 1420 completed in 1478.

One of the important and largest places of renaissance.

Was built after defeat of Milanese and when Cosimo Medici had more power in the government(Plattner, 2017, p. 59).

He able to gain the necessary material of building a palace with his new political power, which gave birth to palazzo. Some of its legacy is the sponsorships of art and architecture especially high and early renaissance art and architecture. Promoted the Florentine works.
