With children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder there is a greater risk that the child will also have Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. There is hope still for a well behaved child. Clinton and Sibcy’s book serves to guide parents through the tough times so that they can see light at the end of the tunnel.

There are over 100 treatments for core features of autism. It is primarily up to the discretion of the parents. The treatment choices are closely based on the family’s socioeconomic status, where they live, and racial background. This article will explain new classifications relating to Autism Spectrum Disorder. It will explain the 7 different assessments used to diagnose Autism. There are also 16 different disorders associated with Autism.

Children as well as adults that are on the spectrum also deal with several conditions that are secondary to the Autism diagnosis. Two main secondary conditions are anxiety and Sensory Processing Disorder. These conditions are usually manifested in early childhood but are manageable with different treatments.
