Abstract:
The article focuses on genealogy of intersectionality, with study of social movements arising from social difference. It discusses invention of the concept of intersectionality and its framework that deals with social privilege, oppression and justice. Topics include development of second-wave feminism, socialist–feminist activism and diversity in terms of race/class/gender framework.
