It has been a while that my computer purchasing behavior is to buy the standard configurations for the public market. I especially like to buy a Mac computer because I don’t really need to worry about the specification because Apple always desires to deliver the best computer in the market. As same as its IOS operating system that gives you less trouble than Window. Therefore, I never think very deeply that how the CPU, memory, and operating system affect the performance of a computer. When I am doing my job in the office, I might feel my laptop is a little slowing, but it won’t have a big disruption to stop my task. We need to thank the computer hardware is improving faster than the needs for the applications we are used to implementing today. In this course, I learn the background of operating systems and 5 managers of operating systems. In order to represent a high performance of a computer, those 5 managers need to work seamlessly well to deal with the applications we are implementing. Moving forward, we need to think about whether the operating system is able to cope with the advanced applications in the organization. Especially most of the applications and data are using cloud computing which processes the application online instead of the local device, the related IT infrastructure also needs to update to catch the change. The IT hardware administrator will have to manage the system life cycle to allow the enterprise system is able to maintain the necessary performance and to complete the real-world tasks (Quartz, 2021).

I managed to attain my personal goal for an internship, which was majorly to involve myself with all the software developments method and processes. I had an opportunity to learn all the elements of system development and have first-hand experiences in analyzing system components and testing and designing system components. My interaction with the well-experienced team members allowed me to learn various life hacks with regard to system development. I also got an opportunity to apply SEMP planning methods (Jovanovic et al., 2015). It enables the inclusion of all system requirements so as to guide the inclusion of all details in the software.

The knowledge which I prioritized was the method of handling requirements change during system development phases. Clients sometimes come with some changes in requirements that were not captured during the initial stages. I this section, I learned the most important skills I changing the work breakdown structures and Gantt charts so as to keep the project on time track while at the same time capturing all the requirements presented by the stakeholders (Ganesh Prasad et al., 2016). In order to better serve the stakeholders, I learned o improving communication skills to enable me to better explain the system needs and the ideal duration for completing projects. For instance, the development of a client website may take a shorter time, while too large web systems may take even months for it to be completed. These are the facts that the client needs to understand.
