When you're doing analysis or specifications for a client or stakeholder, you need to be or become an expert on this.  Your customer mentions "livestreamed" auctions.  Don't confuse this with an EBay-style auction.  Your customer is talking about a live auction.  This video is a good example of a live-streamed auction.  Note that there is an ASK (what the auctioneer is asking for, verbally), and a BID (what the highest bidder has agreed to pay, displayed).
