1. Np-curve
p curve.
The np curve is sloping down to the left. This means that the nosocomial infections are increasing as weeks go by. The p curve also slopes up a bit to the right but the upward and downward displacements of data seem to be equal. This indicates that there is no average decrease in the cases of nosocomial infections. This indicates that they are doing little to reduce the infection rate below the national rate and they cannot achieve this (Argoti et al, 2018).
2.
Machine B shows evidence of special cause variation (Morais, 2015).
3.
The hospital has managed to control death instances with most especially on 1847 and 1848. There had been instances of instability in the first year but things stabilize later in the following two years (Chong et al, 2014).
4.
There is a constant increase of cases of infection after surgery. The hospital is performing dismally in relation to prevention of this cases. There should be an investigation on what led to shooting up of cases between June and September.
5.
The system is not stable. There are sharp ups and downs in data indicating instability. The program is performing well give that congestive heart failure has been documented at 35%. The program is therefore effective (Taylor, 2017).
