AT Training Presentation

Each student will be responsible for making a formal presentations to the class. This activity is designed to prepare you for presentations at professional conferences and professional development for educators. You will have to present on a topic of your choice that relates to Assistive Technology implementation, research, or policy. The presentation should include at least 20 minutes for questions and discussions. You should select 2 – 4 readings for your peers to read prior to your presentation. A successful presentation will demonstrate your expertise with a form of Assistive Technology. The evaluation criteria for the presentation is:

Information was presented in a logical and compelling order

Claims were substantiated with current theoretical and empirical support

The presenter displayed a thorough understanding of the content that extended beyond information in the presentation

The presentation was free of spelling and grammatical errors
