What challenges are you having in coming up with a unique and narrowly focused research question?

With the current issues surrounding our election process, I have not had too much of a problem finding research focusing around the media's so called by partisan views, with regard to the two candidates.  I have found, not only with my own research, but by just watching television, the constant remains of the dislike of President Trump.

Did you have any challenges findings articles within the library?

I have not met any challenges finding articles on the respective news media outlets and websites.  I have, however, had trouble locating journals that are strictly objective words, that appear completely impartial, or without their opinions with regard to the party they side with.  It almost appears each network's reports have a strong agenda laded message, pleaded without caution.

If so what did you do to alter your search parameters? 

I was able to use the official media websites, and search specific articles related to my interested topic of discussion.  I could also do some research

on international websites, gaging their opinions of their citizens, and how it compares to those of the United States.  

Do you anticipate any difficulties in any of the phases of the research cycle as you pursue research on your topic?

I anticipate finding research related to my topic during the secondary research phase.  Although, democracy elections have occurred for over one hundred years in the United States, it appears our two parties have grown further apart in recent decades.
