10. In this last essay, here is what you are writing about: choose one of the trends listed under Week Five DQ 3 (my answer immediately under the DQ). Then you are going to need at least five scholarly sources to use as support for what you say.
11. Your thesis statement should be very much like this: The hidden dangers of ADHD medication include the possibilities of accidental overdose, intentional misuse, and adverse reactions to certain drugs for some.
12. It is important for you to ensure that your thesis statement contain at least three reasons you believe the trend exists or three evidences that it exists. Those three to five reasons are a preview of what your essay's body paragraphs will be about.
13. The thesis statement should be the last sentence of the introduction paragraph. Please spend the introduction talking about the trend, not about looking for information or about what it is like for someone to have ADHD. Remember, too, that all paragraphs require at least five sentences.
14. The topic (first) sentence of the first body paragraph could be: First, the medications often used with ADHD might be involved in accidental overdosing.
15. Then, you write only about that danger that paragraph--what it is, why it is important, and where and how it might occur.
16. Your second and third body paragraph each cover each of the other dangers, the same way I explained the first hidden danger.
17. The conclusion should revisit the main points (such as the thesis statement and topic sentences), not by repeating them but by restating them in different words. All paragraphs require at least five sentences, and the conclusion should begin with an appropriate word or phrase that indicates the essay is wrapping up (such as All in all).
