Assignment: Literature Review

In the last assignment (In attachments as Assignment Unit 3), you identified a problem affecting your organization or community and provided background information. In this second component of your course project, synthesize research and practice to build a deeper understanding of the problem through a review of peer-reviewed journal articles. This information will assist in the development of a theoretical framework for the identified problem. As part of your literature review, evaluate the effectiveness of the research in explaining the problem from the perspective of a public service organization.

In your assignment, be sure to address the following critical elements that align with the grading criteria:

· Examine through scholarly support from the literature the impacts of diversity, ethics, and cultural competency on the decision-making process related to your selected problem.

· Evaluate the aspects of effective communication styles as applied to individual and group collaboration.

· Analyze current (published within the past 3–5 years), relevant, peer-reviewed academic research articles that examine the identified elements.

In addition to this assignment's requirements, remember to revise your Unit 3 assignment (In attachments) by incorporating feedback from your instructor (In attachments), and include the revised version with the Unit 5 assignment.

Assignment Requirements

· Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.

· APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to current APA style and formatting.

· Number of resources: Minimum of 10 peer-reviewed resources formatted following APA guidelines. Also, use references from this units readings listed below and in attachments.

· Length of paper: 6 typed, double-spaced pages (excluding the cover page and references list). Include page numbers, headings, and running head.

· Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12 point.
