you will research and analyze ALL the following for your eventual team website
· 1 website user (depicted as a persona: A person who did not had pet before, had no experience with pets, interested in adopted a pet in our café.)
· 1 competitive website (CAT CAFE LOUNGE https://www.catcafelounge.com/)
· 1 community stakeholder (Hypothesis interview with an executive from Greenie Dental Treat)
SUPPORT ALL POINTS WITH RESEARCH: do not include unsubstantiated opinions, stereotypes, or guesses. You may use secondary research or conduct surveys, focus groups, or interviews.
Paper Elements
1. Cover Sheet: Include paper title, your name, team name, course name, date you completed your paper.
Website Description: A pet café in Los Angeles where you can adopt from, Find your new family member here! Enjoy our Tea time. And we also sell dog&cat treats.
2. Website User Evaluation: Websites have many types of users. Even paying customers can be divided into specific segments. Identify a potential user :A person who did not had pet before, had no experience with pets, interested in adopted a pet in our café.Then create a persona based on research with all the following elements:
· Website Need: Explain what this person hopes to find or achieve on your site. ONE need only.
· Value: Explain the importance this segment has to you (% of market, influence, other value).
· Concerns: Describe their relevant pain points, challenges, or other issues that may affect how they use your website.
· Tech Sophistication/Media Preferences: Describe their website comfort level and the tools they will use to access your site (i.e., mobile vs. PC). List a few other websites and media they like, and your conclusion based on their preferences (e.g., they prefer pictures over words).
3. Competitor Evaluation: Pick a website similar to yours: CAT CAFE LOUNGE https://www.catcafelounge.com/
· What is the competitor's name and URL?
· What are its strengths and weaknesses? Focus on the media (not the products) and be specific (e.g., what does "low quality" or "professional" mean?).
· What would you like to adapt from your competitor?
· What will you do better or different?
4. Community Stakeholder Evaluation: Other than users and competitors, who else in your market could help or hinder your site? These could be individuals or institutions, such as potential collaborators, influencers, special interest groups, government regulators, investors, and other outsiders. · Who is this stakeholder and how might they affect you?
· What are their interests and what do they want?
· How might you work with them? Why would they want to work with you?
5. Reference Notes AND Bibliography: You must have at least 3 AUTHORITATIVE resources. That means academic books and journals, major news media, or certified experts. You may base your research on interviews; just be sure to include complete information about that interview, such as the date and the medium (email, phone, etc.). No transcripts necessary.
