Title: How can agile project management contribute in the success of an entity?

Introduction:

Linking the success of a project using Agile method can lead to more organized project phases or steps in an organization. Comparing the Waterfall method with the agile project management method shows that the agile is more contributing to current world’s practices and operations. As an employee in the IT Department in Dubai Public Prosecution in Dubai, sometimes, we face a delay in submitting the projects due to mismanaged process by the project manager or the staff working on the project.

My Aim:

The main aim from this paper is to provide a comprehensive overview to the current governments performing or completing projects on how they can enhance the PM process using agile. Taking the DGEP which stands for Dubai government excellency program as an example, the main idea looks in all processes used in government entities such as projects completion, projects efficiency, and creativity, as well us KPI’s and overall performance in governments.

Outcome of the study:

To prove that using agile PM method can lead to a better managed project phases and processes and closing steps. Also to make an enhancement plan for our organization as we have a lot of issues in managing projects. For example, not to submit the project on time, changing in the project stages while the project is ongoing, which eventually lead to postpone the project submission to the next year. As a result, the entity performance and production is affected negatively.
