1. My chosen organizational issue will be to analyze the social psychology of American Airlines employees in the Supply, Procurement/Expeditor Arena. In working with these groups as a consultant, I will be overseeing how the group/groups develop new ways to streamline purchasing of aircraft parts, expediting those parts to the aircraft, analyzing aircraft flight hours and parts requirement, scheduling, flow cycle and management. I looking for how these groups work together to get the mission accomplished. Attitude, aptitude, leadership ability and hierarchy will also be analyzed.

1. Explain why the issue hinders organizational efficiency.
1. Social psychology examines how people work together. As an expeditor, you must work with a number of groups or system groups in order to make sure a passenger aircraft is operational. A dysfunctional working group can hinder production and therefore hamper getting an aircraft operational for flight. My intent will be also to identify who within this arena is mentally capable and who is not mentally capable of handling the job in this arena.
