Huina Chen IRE240H1 Assignment Part 1

The organization that I want to write about is the European Trade Union (ETUI), which was established to protect the rights and interests of union members in all aspects, give working people a voice, give workers better treatment, fair treatment and appropriate working hours. Jointly create a new social ecological environment. The problem with European trade unions recently is that modern society is developing too fast and often falling short of European expectations at work. Because the work environment has changed so much now, people of different ages need to learn new skills. However, this exposure to new environments makes people more likely to face failure. A new rule is needed to help people get the most out of them. Unions have discovered a green economic model – investment in clean energy. This green economy creates more jobs and doubles the investment in older fossil fuels. Trade unions expect to put this green economic model into practice in European society so that all workers can benefit from it. The trade unions mentioned that this is not only about Europe's GDP, but a transformation that will benefit the people of Europe as a whole. And what the people have to do first with the union is through individual learning accounts, where everyone accumulates credits each year to acquire new skills. Unions then bring all employees and employers together to come up with a balanced work plan so that everyone's new skills can be used. At the same time, trade unions are also seeking a state of equality for all, regardless of social background, gender, age, and should be paid and treated the same. This is the case with the long-term problems that EU countries have been experiencing, but if efforts and resistance have been discovered and sustained at this time, they will certainly get the "balance" that trade unions expect.

I would value receiving detailed written comments from the instructors.
