Introduction

Write an introduction to your paper about your career or occupation choice. Summarize why this is the career you choose and explain the role of technology in your decision. The introduction should summarize your arguments for your career choice and gives the reader a firm sense of your understanding of your career. The introduction should also entice the reader to continue reading your document.

Occupation Fit, Skills & Interests

Describe your skills and interest. Explain how your career fits the skills that you currently have and peaks your interest. Insert a picture of yourself here.

Describe Your Occupation

Give a brief description of what you will be doing in your occupation. Imagine a day working in this occupation and describe it.

Education & Training

What is the necessary education and training you need for this occupation. What degrees you need. If you do not need degree what experience and skills you need to have in this occupation. How many jobs are there currently in this occupation?

Pay Scale

What is the pay scale for your occupation? Is the occupation going to grow, decline or remain unchanged in the coming years? Is this the pay that you are expecting? Discuss briefly.

Notable Person(s)

Here you will include a small biography of a person that is notable in the field you hope to be in. Be sure to include any possible connections you may have with this person.

Journals/Associations of Interest

Discuss at least one notable association within your field. Describe briefly the mission/values of the association. Include information on how you might be able to be involved as well as links to their website.

Conclusion

Your conclusion is your chance to have the last word on your career/occupation. It is also your opportunity to make a good final impression and end on a positive note. Your conclusion should make your readers glad they read your paper but also act as a stand alone summary; if someone read just your conclusion they should be able to understand the gist of your paper/report, but should also want to read the rest of the document for better understanding of your topic.
