For this assignment, students will practice demonstrating an agency’s ability to fulfill the

project’s proposed goals and outcomes. A fundable statement of capacity typically includes your

agency’s staffing capacity and structure, staff experience, connection to the targeted population

and other collaborative agencies, experience with managing funding, general program

management, other resources available that will assist you in delivering your services, and

sustainability once the grant funding ends.

Assignment Instructions:

Students will use the provided template to organize the necessary information for the organizational

capacity and budget portions of a grant proposal. You must use the provided template for this

assignment.

While you are not writing a full narrative as would typically be required for a proposal, you must write

professionally (do not use contractions, slang, or colloquial expressions), in complete sentences, and use

APA formatting when applicable (title page is not required).

Make sure goals are in SMART format.
