YouTube Video: Week 9 Creating a Time Phased Budget in MS Project.

Assignment Instructions:

Continue working the Scope Management Plan as follows:

1. Using Exhibit 6.2 as an example, prepare a requirements traceability matrix. Remember that a traceability matrix helps us track back requirements to the business need and assure that we only do what is necessary for the project. Title this section Traceability Matrix. This will become the third section of your scope management plan.

2. Prepare a statement of how your team will document and formally approve all changes to the project scope. Title this section Change Control. This will become the fourth section of your plan.

3. Use MS Project 2013/2016 or ProjectLibre to prepare the first draft of the WBS for the event. Use the WBS numbered list you developed in the last module to populate Project.

1. Define all major deliverables as appropriate.

2. Set the starting day for the project as the first day of this class and the project ending date two weeks after the move event.

3. At this point, it is acceptable to have all tasks be 1 day in duration as we will adjust all tasks as we work the schedule in Module 8.
