How to fix Instant Noodles?

Being a scout we often have to spend nights under the sky at forests or steppes with no food to eat. In such a situation, we need to look for the food that gets fix instantly without taking much time and without taking much of our energy. We cannot hunt on deer and cook it as it will take much time.

Hence, we need a snack that could get ready instantly within few minutes and fulfill our hunger in the camps under the open sky. One of such snacks that are considered best food for military men or scouts is instant noodles. Instant noodles are a quick fix for hunger indeed, easy to prepare and fast to consume.

Instructions

You just need to boil 2 cups of water in a pan for one packet of instant noodles. So, take a pan and take a cup. Now pour two cups of water in the pan and put it on the stove. Lit the stove and leave the pan of water on it for a while until it gets boil. Once it starts boiling, take a pack of instant noodles and open it, you will see hard noodles (don’t worry it will get soft when you put them in boiling water) and a small packet of flavor along with noodles, which is called as tastemaker.

Now put the hard noodles adhered to each other in the boiling water and also open the packet of tastemaker or flavor and put it in the boiling water at a same time. Now mix these ingredients in the boiling water until they get mixed with each other. Now leave the pan on the stove for 4 minutes mixing it with spoon time to time.

After 4 minutes you will feel that noodles are getting ready to eat as they get soft in the boiling water. Now switch off the stove and pour the noodles in a bowl carefully, do not burn your hand while pouring. The best way is to carry the pan with some handkerchief to avoid getting burnt. Once you pour it in a bowl do not start eating instantly, leave it for a while until it gets cool. Now take a spoon and eat your instant noodles.

Instant noodles are very popular Chinese food across the world. It is widely preferred among the military men, mountain climbers, hikers and scouts. To write these steps I had to read how to make instructions on the packet of instant noodles. The entire way of fixing the instant noodles is given on the packet.

You can follow the instructions given on the packet. The reason why I chose instant noodles as a snack to fix because of the fact that instant noodles as the name suggests get ready within 4 to 5 minutes without making any effort and we can eat it instantly and easily it won’t take much time.

Why Instant Noodles is a good snack for scouts?

While scouting we do not prefer to take ingredients with us to cook food. Cooking food is indeed difficult in the camps as compared to our kitchen. We cannot hunt on a deer or a squirrel to eat as it will take a lot of time and it needs to be cooked at high temperature, otherwise, it can lead to food poisoning or other stomach related diseases.

Hence, it is better to cook a snack such as instant noodles, even though they are not rich in nutrients but they are not harmful to the health and fix our hunger instantly. You can use noodles of any brand just make sure they are instant noodles and read the instructions on the packet before cooking it.
