This assignment assumes that you’ve Tableau Desktop installed on your system. If not, please download and install Tableau Desktop ( http://www.tableau.com/products/desktop ) before proceeding.

Data Source: Medicare Part D Prescriber Data (Attached)

Please submit tableau file as Tableau Packaged workbook (*. twbx) format. Go to File >> click Export Packaged Workbook >> Select your destination folder >> click Ok

1. Display top 20 drugs, sorted by # of total drug cost. (Sheet 1)

2. Make this top 20 filter with top N dynamic parameter. So that user can increase/decrease top number. (Sheet 1)

3. On the tooltip display important information such as Drug Name, Beneficiary Count, Total Drug Cost, Total Claim Count, Cost Per Patient, Cost Per Claim (Sheet 1) Note: bene_count is the number of patients

4. Show # of Drug cost as data label. (Sheet 1)

5. Create geographic distribution by each state. (Sheet 2)

6. Fill the map by color intensity of total # of claims (e.g. higher utilization should have a stronger color and lower should have lighter color) (Sheet 2)

7. Show # of total claim as data label (Sheet 2)

8. On the tooltip display important information such as Drug Name, Beneficiary Count, Total Drug Cost, Total Claim Count, Cost Per Patient, Cost Per Claim (Sheet 2)

9. Create a dashboard with these 2 sheets. Give an appropriate name for the dashboard.
