Assignment Deliverables Use the project network, baseline, and status information provided to develop project status reports for

periods 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. Each status report will have 2 parts – EVM numbers and Narrative

1. EVM Numbers (20% of grade)

The status reports should include the following information:

 Planned Value (determined from the Baseline (PV) below)

 Earned Value,

 Actual Cost (given below)

 Cost Variance

 Schedule Variance

 Budget at Completion

 Estimate at Completion

 Schedule Performance Index

 Cost Performance Index

 Percentage Complete in terms of Budget

You may add additional EVM numbers to enhance or improve your reports.

2. Narrative (80% of grade)

In each status report (periods 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12), the narrative will describe the following:

• Assessment of the status of the project and expected status at project completion.

• Assessment of the status of each task.

• An explanation of how each of the EVM numbers were calculated

• What each EVM number means to the project

Note that PV numbers are abbreviated by 2 zeros. This means for example that the PV for task 1 is 800
