Assignment discussion Tips

This assignment should be written in an essay format. You should not write the essay as if it is a question and answer sheet. You can change the section titles into more meaningful ones based on the content of your essay.
Focus on one area of weakness and provide in-depth analyses of it.
You should reflect on your own weakness. Do not blame others for their behaviors.
It is not ideal to use too many theories/tools. Focus on one or two that is/are most suitable to your specific weakness.
The action plan should be able to reduce your weakness from different perspectives.
The action plan should be detailed, realistic and actionable.
Times New Roman, font size 12, should be used throughout. Spacing must be 1.5 lines or double lined and margins on all sides.

Key reasons that people lost points in previous semesters
Did not identify a personal weakness. The topic is too general.
Too many personal stories, not enough stories in a work/uni context
Did not provide detailed examples based on your own experiences.
A lack of connection between the essay and the theory.
A weak action plan

Go beyond Hofstede’s theory.
Integrate the information of the two micro-credentials.
Do not use theories that are not covered in this course.
Do not use one paragraph to write how important cross-cultural communication is. We all know it. State your weakness in the first paragraph.
