Assignment 3: IT and Public Management

 

Over the course of the semester, we have discussed the ways in which government’s use of technology stands to improve service provision. We have also talked about how this new technology might influence the way governments provide different services. While potentially beneficial, such changes present issues with respect to service provision. Specifically, the issue is that not everyone has the same level of access to the Internet – we refer to this as the digital divide.

 

Using material we have covered in class, as well as your own opinions and experiences, which of the following do you believe:
