In this assignment, you will select a topic related to something we have discussed in class. Once you have a topic, you will find 3 peer reviewed research articles through the library. You will be required to read each article for your annotated bibliography. You can go to the following link for a description of an annotated bibliography as well as an example of what an annotation would look like.

Your annotated bibliography will include:

1. Introduction: You will introduce your topic. You must tell me why this topic is important to our understanding of health. If you refer to an article (whether a news article of a research article) you MUST use in-text citations. Your introduction should also include a discussion of what you hope to achieve with your annotated bibliography. Pretend you are introducing a research paper. The only difference is that your paper will only include a list of your 5 sources with a description and analysis of your sources.

2. Sources: This is the main section of your annotated bibliography. You are going to list all 3 references (using proper APA formatting) followed by a brief description /review of the article. You will then tell me WHY this article is important to a better understanding of your topic.

3. Conclusion/Discussion: Your conclusion/discussion must summarize your topic and the articles you selected to include in your annotated bibliography. Remember that a conclusion should not introduce any new ideas. You are simply pulling together the ideas that have been presented in the rest of tHe paper.

Criteria for Paper:

· Scholarly style in APA format

· 12 point font, double spaced

· Maximum 3-4 pages excluding title page and references

· Mark distribution as outlined in Paper Marking Guide
