· Should be good quality logo, name and tagline
· Put logo and name in the body of the paper.
· Clearly indicate what name and /or tagline and logo is.
· Identify total estimated budgeted marketing cost estimation for the year.
· Identify breakouts on number of ads, number of lines (for newspaper ad), cost per ad, cost total, how many days, months, etc. it will run.
· Use correct formatting of references in body of paper and on reference page.
· Put phone, address, website, etc. on the flyer or brochure.
· Cost for bus ad: per bus, per time frame
· Radio: cost per ad, min. per ad, number of times a day, a week, etc. it will run.
· Brochure: cost per brochure, number of brochures, mth, week, etc. and total costs.
· Do not take someone else’s slogan, graphic, etc. You need to develop your own.
· Do not use someone else’s advertising scheme and verbage.
· Don’t mention extra advertising options that you don’t have a sample for.
· Try to avoid a lengthy tagline.
· Never be ambiguous: “ I think I will have…”, “I may choose a color scheme of….”
· Make sure to restate location, and type of business
· If you attach an advertisement of flyer, billboard, etc., please say, “Please see Figure 1 for a sample of…”
· Follow the order of the outline.
· All drafts should be in written paragraph form, no outlining. This will affect your grade.
· Always re-read your work.
