What am I required to do in this assignment?

You will produce a group presenta2on and an individual commentary on your part of the presenta2on.

Each member of your group must prepare and present one aspect of the presenta2on. However, you must work with your group to

prepare an interes2ng cohesive account with one set of slides.

Your presenta*on must be based around an object or artefact relevant to your topic.

The 2tle page of the Presenta2on must have all the student ID numbers of all members of the group and each sec2on prepared by

the individual student must have only their ID number in each corner. You must discuss together the style and composi2on of your

presenta2on.

The slides must be fully referenced with an addi2onal list of references provided at the end of the presenta2on. You must prac2ce

your presenta2on as a group. It may not exceed the 15 minutes allocated.

How do I produce high quality work that merits a good grade?

• Reading and research is vital to a good presenta2on and re1ec2on and your knowledge and understanding will be evident in the

slides, accompanying speech, in answering ques2ons and in your commentary, demonstrated by making clear that you understand

the debates and through references.

• The best presenta2ons are engaging, providing a good combina2on of visual and speech and going beyond reading the slides or

from notes.

• A good commentary will explain the context, the speci:c area for which you are responsible and debates in that area.

How does this assignment relate to what we are doing in scheduled sessions?

From Week six speci:c countries will be examined week-by-week from which you may choose one. In Week 6 detailed guidance will be

provided on the Presenta2on and Commentary. You will also be provided with tutorial support throughout the course of the unit
