on sites such as Amazon or Netflix where you have to rate a product on a five-star scale. Since it's not required to rate
the product you normally see reviews from people who either really liked it or really hated it.
Select a product review that you believe shows non-response error. The review must use a five-star scale and
you must provide a link that shows me the overall rating along with the individual scores (see below for an example).

Notice that I made some processing errors. This can be due to a variety of reasons. Perhaps my handwriting was poor and
I couldn't read the numbers correctly. Or maybe I was in a hurry and was going too fast when using Excel. At any rate,
my statistics will be affected.

processing error significantly impact some measures while leaving others practically the same?

This week's assignment is going to look at two different topics: data collection and Nielsen ratings. Data Collection When collecting data you have to be careful because you are making assumptions about the population by considering a sample of information. As a result you're sampling approach needs to be well-thought-out. There are many ways to collect a sample and you have to be on the lookout for different sources of error. Nielsen Ratings Ratings are determined by many companies but the most reputable has to be Nielsen. They measure data across multiple platforms (TV, online, mobile, etc.) and companies pay a lot of money for the results. The information we have access to is limited because it's free, but you can find a lot of data on Nielsen.com. Please read each question carefully and provide your answers in the specified cells.
