Assignment 2:

•Develop three “rough draft” ideas for a basis of your company promotion.

•Base your ideas off of your specific company’s parameters – handed out in class on

Thursday.

•Explain which of the 3 ideas is your top choice and why.

Promotion Parameters:

Company name: John Bellion

Objective: Promote events for Southern Oregon

Timeline: Friday, September 26

Budget: $30,000

The rough drafts of 3 different promotions is a starting point for what your final promotion will be for John Bellion.

For example: Do you want to do a social media promotion? A radio and TV promotion? A combination of both?

You have a $30,000 dollar budget but 20K of that money will go to the performer. That leaves you with $10,000 to do your promotion. You'll have to be creative. For example, perhaps Bellion has a heart for the homeless. (I don't know what he is interested in supporting but perhaps you can find out) Then you could say for every $50 dollar ticket sold, $5 goes to a homeless shelter like Vincent De Paul. This way you could do some FREE PSA (public service announcements) on TV and radio and not have to spend money from your budget. You'll still have to create flyers, place ads on social media etc and we will be talking about this in future classes.

For this assignment I need three promotional ideas. I've given you some above to think about.
