Option 1 is traveling to Zambia to address the health challenge of malaria within that country. Your attention was drawn to this health issue after reading the scholarly article, Modeling Malaria Reduction.

Option 2 is traveling to West Africa to address the health challenge of Ebola. Your attention was drawn to this health issue after reading this Ebola outbreak report from the World Health Organization.

Option 3 is traveling to a location in East Asia or the Pacific to address the health challenge of malnutrition among women, infants, children, and adolescents. Your attention was drawn to this health issue after reading the scholarly paper, Trip Trouble.

Option 4 is traveling to a location in South America to establish an immunization clinic to provide local residents with COVID-19 vaccination. Your attention was drawn to this health issue after reading the scholarly paper, Public Health Matters, on the subject.

Scenario: Use the Project Guidelines and Rubric document to select one scenario for the proposed humanitarian aid trip. Briefly state the scenario selected and provide your personal rationale for the selection of this scenario.

In two to three paragraphs, provide an evidence-based summary description of the problem.

Population: Describe the target population for the chosen scenario. The writing should be objective and should not include the first person.

Clearly identify the country and the geographic region where it is located.

Describe the socioeconomic profile of the chosen country.

Describe the demographic profile of the country.

Prevalent Health Concerns: Discuss the prevalent health concerns including the problem of focus in the scenario as well as other prevalent health concerns.

Social Determinants: Identify the social determinants of health for the scenario.

Education: Identify the characteristics of the educational system including ease of access and quality of education for the population in the chosen country.

Healthcare: Explain the ease of access and quality of healthcare reported in the country.

Economic Stability: Describe the factors that influence the economic stability or instability of the country.

Inequity: Interpret the inequities reported among the population in the country.
