Question 1:  What is "feeling brown?"  (10 pts)

 

Question 2 (40 pts):  Drawing from Queer Ricans, Pelo Malo and The Erotics and Politics of Self-Making, discuss the centrality of race in the development of gender and sexual identities (use specific examples).

 

Question 3:  (30 points) Drawing from Pelo Malo, define and discuss Muñoz's notions of:

Question 4 (20 points): Drawing from Queer Ricans, discuss the politics of migration, national identity and their centrality in forming queer subjectivities.  Give specific examples from the text to support your argument.
