PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Triathlons are growing in popularity, and some members of your class are very interested in competing in one. Some of your classmates are runners, some are swimmers, and some are cyclists. Others are just active people who want a challenge. As an experienced triathlete, you can offer them some advice on the sport.

You have drafted a presentation with tips for preparing for a sprint triathlon. To illustrate your ideas, clarify the information, and emphasize your points, you will add graphics and effects to help inform and motivate your audience.

GETTING STARTED

· Download the file SC_PPT2013_C2_P1a_FirstLastName_1.pptx from the SAM website onto your computer.

· Open the file you just downloaded and save it with the name:

· SC_PPT2013_C2_P1a_FirstLastName_2.pptx

· Hint: If you do not see the .pptx file extension in the Save file dialog box, do not type it. PowerPoint will add the file extension for you automatically.

· To complete this SAM Project, you will also need to download and save the following data files from the SAM website onto your computer:

· support_SC_P13_C2_P1a_weights.jpg

· Open the file SC_PPT2013_C2_P1a_FirstLastName_2.pptx, if necessary. Ensure that your name is displayed in the presenter notes on Slide 1. If the presenter notes do not display your name, please download a new copy of the file from the SAM website.
