Before getting started review the attached - WCMHS Five Year Strategic Plan
Based on your understanding of WCMHS’ culture (check out the website; www.wcmhs.org) develop a human resource response to the following situations. This assignment will give you an opportunity to not only discuss HRM functions but to show how they interrelate and work together to achieve overall organizational objectives. Please base your answers on relevant research and industry trends and use websites, our text and other materials to support your writing.
The written strategic HRM plan should be between five and seven pages (5-7) (excluding works cited and title pages) and address all of the five areas of challenge listed below. I suggest a minimum of one page per area; staffing, training, compensation, safety and employee relations.
In addition please provide an overall summary of how WCMHS can meet their objectives and remain a viable business from both an HR and business perspective.
1) Staffing
What can WCMH do to continue to both attract and retain qualified employees?
2) HRD
What can WCMH do to ensure that their staff is adequately trained?
3) Compensation
What can WCMH do to ensure that their staff is adequately compensated? What types of pay for performance systems would be most successful given their organization culture?
4) Safety & Health
What can WCMH do to ensure that their staff is safe on the job? What types of interventions might they consider to reduce their worker’s compensation claims?
5) Employee Relations
What can WCMH do to ensure that they follow their progressive discipline policy? What types of interventions and policies might they consider to reduce the likelihood of employees filing legal complaints against them?
