School Cleaning & Janitorial Service :

The Tenderer must submit a Cleaning Plan for the delivery of all

services at the appropriate periods (daily, monthly, quarterly and semiannually)

that will demonstrate measures to ensure all rooms, hallways,

corridors, storage areas, windows, furniture, equipment and stairs are

serviced. The plan should include but, not limited to:

o Measures that will be undertaken to identify the cleaning

personnel at the assigned campus(es) while performing the

services.

o Measures to ensure the cleaning schedule minimizes the spread

of diseases and pathogens across the school campus

o Measures to collect and dispose of refuse

o Measures to ensure that environmentally friendly products are

being used at all times

o Measures to outline the frequency of cleaning of restrooms

during school hours

o Measures to be taken during an incident or emergency situation

o Provision for storage of cleaning equipment

o Provision for storage and security of cleaning chemicals

o Provision of a plan for notifying and reporting when an assigned

cleaner is unavailable (illness, vacation, etc.) and how a backup

cleaner will be deployed

o Provision of a plan to train each cleaning personnel assigned to

the contract. The training plan should cover all of the Service

Requirements in PART C: Scope of Services and the

Appendix 6 to ensure that delivery of the cleaning service is

consistently of a high standard.
