Assignment 2: Application: Process Recordings

October 11, 2021

Answer 1

During the session, the client is an middle age female. She is fluent in English and lives in a one-bedroom apartment. She is the beneficiary of government assistance. The family has referred the client for seeking help related to several attempts of suicide. The focus of this session is to determine the challenges that hinder the client from creating a positive relationship and make sure that the issues of the ways will be resolved. Important to emphasize the need to create a positive relationship with the client to overcome the persistence for knowing about the right ways of listening and providing the right kind of effective intervention. The session's focus is to provide a good opportunity for the client and make sure that the new environment will be good for her. It means that it is necessary to know about the mental and emotional issues that the client is facing in finding a good kind of effective intervention (Barnett, 2014).

Answer 2

There is not any proper response from the client. She wants to dominate the session that is important to be managed. As per my thinking, the client needs to know what is happening in her life. Here, the used theory is the client-centered theory that will help resolve the challenges limiting the client's ability to communicate effectively. The focus of this theory is to unearth the challenges that are limiting the ability to communicate with the clients effectively. This session aims to relate it with the engagement of the week and highlight the common dilemmas encountered when dealing with and focusing on the client. Social work is the client's anger that needs the individual to handle with a high level of professionalism to indicate the good ways and resolve the issues in the way (Coombs, 2002).

Answer 3

I have admitted it, and I was nervous because I was unsure of the client's safety. Going by her anger, it is not clear to me what the client would do. The client did not seem to care about the situation. It is at this point that got me thinking that I felt uncomfortable about the environment because the client has direct domination about the better part of the talk that is not focused on (Welfare, 2013).

Answer 4

Some of the skills that are used include resiliency and empathy. These are the skills that help me a lot during the process of recording. It is clear that the client is facing the issue, and the intervention needs to attend the session and incorporate the time that has been attended the session. Role modeling is critical in all of the sessions, and the client needs to allow attending to make sure that the right kind of ways will be taken. It means that the understanding of the focused way has a vital part to play for the person. Critical sessions are always crucial for the person to take the excellent kind of opportunities. The critical sessions help to prevent the threat and the process that is important to take. The need is to understand the different kinds of interruptions and the right ways that should be taken. It means that the need is to know about the problems in the way (DeCleene, 2013).
