Netflix

INSTRUCTIONS, READ THEM CAREFULLY:

Specifically. Your assignment will consist of two files.

1- Word Document. Here you need to describe very briefly the 1) business and the recent strategic actions from the company. 2) You need to describe the major variances (minimum 10) resulting from the VAHA Analysis and Absolute Change, also you need to explain very specific (AGAIN VERY SPECIFIC) the strategic decisions and the variances linked.

2- Excel File. BS and IS from the SEC 10K last 4 years. VAHA ANALYSIS in one TAB for Income statement and in an other tab for balance sheet. You can highlight (by coloring the excel cell with yellow color if something good is happening and red color if something bad is happening) in the VAHA analysis the big variances. NO NOTES tab for backend analysis in excel anymore for Income statement or balance sheet. Write them under the headings of 1) Variances in Income Statement and their linkage with strategies of Netflix, and 2) Variances in Balance Sheet and their linkage with strategies of Netflix for question number 2.

I will give you until the Saturday MAY 12th MIDNIGHT.

Question 1: Discuss about the business segments of Netflix and recent strategies adopted by the management of Netflix in order to remain competitive in its industry.

Question 2: Do the VAHA Analysis and Absolute change analysis on Netflix. Do the Backend analysis by linking the major variances in the income statement and balance sheet of Netflix with

their strategies.

NOTE: DO NOT ignore your word file as both these questions should be answered on your

word file rather excel file. In the excel file you simply have quantitative numbers and

analysis and your all writing of your backend analysis and discussion on strategies should

be on word file.
