1. Electronic contracts.

2. Electronic signatures.

3. Pexa and the electronic settlement process.

4. The risk of fraud with this system.

Criteria:-

· Adequately research the allocated topic.

· Demonstrate a synthesis of the law of contract as it applies to the ownership and transfer of property and/or construction projects.

· Demonstrate an understanding of the current legislation and case law of electronic documents.

· Demonstrate an understanding of the legal changes to enable electronic registration of transactions at the Land Titles Office.

· Discuss the risk and financial losses that are now involved in property transactions.

· Adequately reference any legal principles in the assignment.

· Demonstrate clear communication skills.
