In place of this instruction, write a paragraph synopsis of what the article is about. Similar to Assignment 1, explain it as if you are trying to accurately portray the argument of the article, the supporting evidence provided by the author, and the author’s conclusion. Imagine you are explaining it to a high school senior and the author will read your synopsis. This means you need to make sure it makes sense and is an accurate depiction of the author’s views and claims without quoting or cutting/pasting information from the article. Again, no quotes allowed.
