you will create a proposal for your final project detailing the process you intend to follow for your Assignment. This proposal will be in a PowerPoint format with an audio component and will include some of the general education elements of the Liberal Studies degree outcomes for an interdisciplinary approach. 

After you have reviewed the materials from the unit, locate three articles in the Library from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals. The articles should relate to your career choice and to the courses that you have taken in this degree program. This proposal will require you to communicate your plan to apply critical thinking skills as you find credible sources that support your analysis of the general education elements. 

For example, if your program specific career is leadership in business and the general education topic is communication, find an article on effective communication for leaders. As another example, if your program specific career is teaching and the general education topic is technology, find an article on new ways of teaching through the latest technology. 

Then, keeping the scientific method process in mind, begin to create a proposal for completing your Assignment. This proposal should be 10 slides. The headings to include in your proposal are: 

Slide 1: Title page

Slide 2: Project topic

· This slide will relate your career plans and general education outcomes

Slide 3: Explain why you chose this topic

· This slide will provide relevancy to your chosen career, future areas of study, interest in the topic, etc.

Slide 4: Draft thesis

· This slide will describe the proposed main point of the research paper

Slide 5: Review of preliminary research into the topic

· This slide will identify the preliminary research or prior knowledge used to select the topic

· Include required references you have not been able to locate in your initial search

Slide 6: Narrowing the topic and finalize the thesis

· Detail how you will refine your topic to fit in a 10-page paper

· Finalize the thesis statement

· Summary of resource and why it addresses topic
