Introduction

Part 1 consists of the most important information and data that identifies and describes the respective learning institution in a general perspective. This implies that relevant data and information that anyone can require or need to make various implementations such as choice of school or to know the quality of education and knowledge sharing and harnessing in the school. Besides, the data achieved in part 1 helps to put the school in its ranking, where every detail, from the infrastructure to the population, the effectiveness of education and learning in the school, co-curricular activities, and other related aspects and other related implementations are focused. The area of concern is the educational success and improvement, where an illustration is given. The calling of all teachers in a particular subject to a meeting to discuss various concerns that need to be addressed, and to share various ideas that would help in the improvement of educational practices and knowledge sharing in the school.

Activity

Summative assessment

The assessments include the illustration and the accordance of every aspect that includes physical assets and other related assets found in the institution, such as student performance. Some of the assessments to be done include the following;

1) Students are given tests after every lecture, and the results compared to specific pass mark (Chappius 2017).

· Discuss some main points of the previous lecture.

2) Turn in end term exams for assessment. The grading done with regards to a pass mark of 50/100

3) Students sit for a paper to illustrate their knowledge about a certain topic. Results graded and compared with the pass mark.

Selected response

For the selected response, it is realized from the various ways and methods of learning, where students simply make up for their final responses according to their way of understanding. The interaction of students aids to develop different arguments which contribute to the selection of the responses. Different backgrounds of the students give them a different way of understanding. The development of new technologies has an impact on the responses given by students, considering that the respective technological implementation affects cultural practices. Selected responses help to create full understanding of why students end up with their choices. The assessments are as follows:

1) Clearly distinguish, identify and describe different shapes

2) Classify objects and items in class according to their type of shapes.

3) Recognize and record various angles possessed by various items in class

4) Your class teacher teaches well. True or false.

5) Which one is not among the 5 senses? A. Hearing, B. smiling, C. touching D. smelling

Written response

A written response is realized from various aspects and circumstances, such as situations involved in different environments and areas in the learning institution. When students easily explain the content of a given subject excellently through writing, written response is depicted. During such circumstances, freedom to express own thoughts through writing is achieved without interruption. Such implementations are realized from various aspects such as students writing compositions and articles. With the interaction of the students, they end up learning new writing skills (Chappius 2017). With the advanced technology, students achieve the advantage of acquiring the knowledge of operating different technological devices. It is easier for them to get used to any technological device in a given environment. Writing responses promotes metacognition as one can understand the thoughts of the students used in the written responses. The assessments include the following;

1) Write a discussion about decision making in different circumstances such as leadership, love and religious contexts

2) Write in your own words an interpretation of the national anthem

Performance assessment

This assessment is realized from the results of the different performance of students. It is influenced by the students' population, where a large number will perform poorly compared to a small and manageable number. This is achieved because the teacher can easily teach each student compared to a greater number of students (Chappius 2017). Cultural practices influence and impact the performance of students. These negative factors can make students fail in their academic endeavors. The use of technology helps to increase the performance of the students as they can easily get access to different learning resources such as articles, books, tutorials, documentaries and other related resources. Performance assessment promotes metacognition since the teacher can identify weaknesses and strengths of students in a given subject. The assessments include the following;

1) Read and understand the first topic of the term and describe your own observations about the main points illustrated.

2) Select your topic of choice from the term and state your observations regarding to the main objective, and the main information in the topic.

Personal communication

In a situation where the students are highly populated, the interaction causes confidence in communication skills. Such an implementation is clearly illustrated in the school, where the population suits and encourages interaction by both word and action. It helps to build the ability of the students to communicate in an effective manner. (Chappius 2017). Cultural practices that consider the freedom of speech contribute to enhancing the personal communication and expression of every student. Technology is one of the factors that supports the personal communication of students as they get more skills, exposure and knowledge. With personal communication, students express themselves directly, making it simple for one to understand their thoughts, intentions, and also express their knowledge.

Assessments include;

1) Perform class discussions about the previous topic

2) Each student is interviewed according to the previous topic at the teacher’s desk

3) Students are given oral examinations such as dictation, and told to rad their own composition t the class.
